Play Along Live This Weekend — Free Prediction Game

🎮 We Built Something — Come Play Along This Weekend

We've been working on something behind the scenes at JumpOff.news and it's finally ready: a free live prediction game for Grand Prix showjumping.

As each rider enters the ring, you predict their faults and wager on the time. Get it right, earn points. Get it wrong, lose your wager. When it's time for the jump-off, pick your podium and cheer on who you think will win. Compete with friends on the live leaderboard and prove you know the sport best.

No entry fee, no catch — just bragging rights.

Why We Built It

Because watching showjumping is better when you have skin in the game. We've all sat there calling rails and predicting clears — now you can put those calls on the record.

How It Works

  1. Open the St Gallen game and create a free account
  2. Predict each rider's faults and wager on the time — more risk, more reward
  3. In the jump-off, pick your podium
  4. Watch the leaderboard update live and see where you stack up

🇨🇭 Nations Cup Recap — Switzerland Win on Home Soil

Before the Grand Prix, Friday's Range Rover Nations Cup set the stage — and the home crowd got exactly what they came for.

Switzerland won with just 9 penalties — the only team in single figures. After sitting 4th at the end of Round 1, the Swiss delivered a stunning second round. Jason Smith was the anchor with a double clear aboard Picobello van't Roosakker, Martin Fuchs bounced back from 8 faults in R1 to go clear with Lorde, and Steve Guerdat sealed it with a single time fault on Albfuehren's Iashin Sitte.

🏆 Final Standings

  1. 🇨🇭 Switzerland — 9 pen
  2. 🇦🇹 Austria — 16 pen
  3. 🇬🇧 Great Britain — 17 pen
  4. 🇺🇸 USA — 20 pen
  5. 🇩🇪 Germany — 22 pen
  6. 🇧🇪 Belgium — 22 pen
  7. 🇮🇪 Ireland — 27 pen
  8. 🇧🇷 Brazil — 32 pen

🔮 Grand Prix Preview — Who to Watch

Sunday's €500,000 Grand Prix is a two-round final at 1.60m. With the Nations Cup form as a guide:

  • Steve Guerdat 🇨🇭 — The master of the big occasion. World No.10, the home crowd behind him.
  • Martin Fuchs 🇨🇭 — Shaky R1 in the Nations Cup, then showed exactly why he's world class with a clear in R2.
  • Max Kühner 🇦🇹 — Two steady 4-fault rounds. Consistent and dangerous.
  • Ben Maher 🇬🇧 — Wrote off Friday. When Maher has a bad day, he comes back swinging.
  • Aaron Vale 🇺🇸 — Clear in R1 of the Nations Cup. Carissimo 25 on song.
